to know the corruption prevailing
in their country
Not because they are stupid
But because the corrupt people were the
voters who put them on the platform
When those corrupt people are in the jail house
who will vote for the guy who is leading now?

You need the people below you to push you up
That’s the only reason some leaders pretended
not to know of any wrongdoings

Can you please tell me
Have you ever heard of people who confirm
that only honest guys should vote for him?
If a guy can openly admit
that corruption is his government’s
big problem
I think he is a great guy
You need to give him
time to look into the problem
Magicians don’t help you to solve the problems
They can't even solve their own problems

The irritating China-men are found at every corner
of the earth
They do well in their studies
When they have the chance they seldom fail
either Bachelor, Master or PhD
Many other races have a failure rate of about 50%
when their children attend university colleges

During convocations
you can see and hear Western parents shout
with joys when their kids go forward
to receive the certificates
The China-men’s parents do the same
but very few of them have the chance
to attend Convocations
The expenses are too high
Won’t you run cheap airlines and hotels
to cater for this group of tourists?

Please don’t be afraid
These China-men are not interested to
take over any country
They are there to make money
When they make money they pay taxes
Your governments will benefit
including every man on the street
Microcosmically, it benefits you
Macrocosmically, it benefits the whole world

When a Prime Minister was asked
why he purchased the China-men’s goods
His answer was that
he would buy goods which are the cheapest
if the qualities are equal
regardless of the country of origin.
Which bloke cannot understand
this business theory?
So, please make your services cheap

You must wish people well
Your wishes will result in your own wellbeing
And you will live longer
Don’t you believe it?
Ask the psychiatrists.

Working Attitude

Before they start off for the day
There’s the common song- and- dance
Which they value dearly
To them, life must move on very slowly
They always asked
If the jobs for the day
involve life-and-death
Otherwise, they say
Sit down, have a cigarette and a cup of coffee
and talk on what you saw last night at the pub
Was there any new girl coming from Thailand
or Indonesia ?

Why must they spread noxious poison everywhere
mesmerizing others by
fanning the fire of sexual attraction?

***


Here, Jack, these are free cigarettes and lighters
from our subcontractors
You must learn to smoke
to prove you’re a man
Does it matter if you die sooner
But enjoy a fantastic life ?
Why should you live for a century
if life is dull and poor, empty and miserable ?
***

Let the choppers fly off
The offshore materials can go off
by the next chopper tomorrow
Why should we allow those nuts
to rush our life onshore?
We only have this life
Let’s enjoy it the way it should be
Just like James Sadang said
He had bedded “a thousand over “girls
What’s your record?
Can we beat him!

Beware, my friends
Don’t mingle with mean-spirited people
They delight when things go wrong
They create tempests in a teacup
by be-clouding right and wrong
by the strength of their words
Don’t they have to knock down
all the competitors in order to reach the submit ?
Or do they enjoy the smell of blood
and hindering people
to drag others down to their own level.?

Miracle



This 6-year-old kid was crossing a river alone
He was walking along the two lengths of
coconut tree trunks
laid parallel and about 12 feet from one bank
to the other bank.
It was raining heavily the other night
He slipped and fell into the river
The basket he was carrying rested
on the two trunks
The contents were intact
The poor fellow went right into the water
He saw bubbles above his head
Surprisingly, he was moving upward
though he was not able to swim
He grasped on the creepers
and pulled himself out of the water
Why didn’t he drown ?
Was it Jesus saving him ?
Was it Mary ?
Was it a deva ?
I have no answer

When he reached his grandmother’s place
She helped him to remove the shirt and the shorts
Cleaned them and dried them in the fierce hot sun
The incident was closed
Not every family can afford to have a maid
to look after their kids
Was it because of his mission
on this planet that he escaped death?
Was it his good deeds in previous lives?

The Good Life Here

The panorama of life
is breathtaking
To be more specific,
they are beautiful and exhilarating
It’s up to you
The good man shall reap the good
The evil ones the evils
There’s no escape

Don’t you ever believe them
They cannot remove your defilements
Who are they?
Have you ever met them?
There’re lots of evil people
Fortunately, there’re also lots of good people
Let me tell you this good story
One millionaire was having lunch
in an expensive restaurant
He had several dishes on his table
but he could not eat
Next to his table was a labourer
who, it was obvious
was in the restaurant for the first time
He finished the food in his plates
not a drop was left

That rich man looked at him admirably
And asked how that young fellow was
earning a living?
This honest fellow said he was
a construction labourer
from the nearby building sites
He had to save for some time
just to have a feeling of
dinning in this restaurant
And therefore he could not afford
to waste any food

The rich man was thinking
Here is a rich guy who could buy up
this restaurant
But he could not eat,
He had no appetite
And yet here is a poor fellow
who can eat and eat and enjoy
the foods but
who cannot afford to come here often
This poor millionaire pulled out a cheque book
And wrote sever thousands dollars on it
Filled in the labourer’s name and presented it to him
The shocked fellow took the cheque and
thanked him profusely
It was said the money was enough to buy
two new cars at that time

Just to prove to you
That we’re not short of good people
on this lovely planet
There was this other incident
Where a student won a third price
In a high jump competition
during an inter-schools sports on an island
His respectful school principal
suggested that he donate that beautiful
silver trophy to the school
so as the encourage other students
to do well in the classrooms and in the fields
This student was very much moved
by the principal.
He donated the trophy
The following year that student
moved to another school
for higher studies.
During the sports meet
He was able to win the same prize
but because another guy from his former school
would be able to win that prize
he did not compete for that event
leaving the prize for the guy from his former school

Can you name another incident like this?
Good words and polite behaviour
can move people for life.
Won’t you want to try?
